As we approach our first anniversary we just wanted to take a moment to
thank you and Penei for the beautiful ceremony you performed for our wedding
last Dec. at the Keauhou Beach Resort. Here in the bush of Alaska we have
many opportunities to wish we were in warm sunny Hawaii. But every time we
think of Hawaii we remember the most incredible day of our lives – our beach
wedding. It was truly magical. You made our wildest dreams come true.
Everyone who watches the video of our wedding ask us how long we had known
you. You made us feel as though we have known you our entire lives. As
Christians we wanted the ceremony based on I Corinthians. Your ceremony was
perfect and such a blessing. Our photographer Heather Kaula and videographer
Lynn Beittel were phenomenal! They too made us so comfortable we still keep
in contact. You and Penei paid such attention to every detail it made our
very special day incredible. The bouquet Penei made is beautiful and sits in
our living room as a constant reminder of how extraordinary our wedding was.
Now our friends who are married all say “why didn’t we think of going to
Hawaii to get married?” As we say in Inupiaq Eskimo: Quyannukpuq, which
means “thank you VERY much”. Attached is one of our wedding pictures, plus
